Terrific idea! Great book selection! Don't know if I'll have time to do much with it until 2012, but I'll try to peek at your conversations and ideas. As for Thoreau's opinions on blogging, I don't care. He is fair game, having opened a dialogue for the ages.
I am curious what other people think of the concept of living "deliberately". What do you think Thoreau means by that, and does it mean the same thing to everyone? Do we all need to live in an isolated cabin living off the land in simplicity to live "deliberately"? Is it possible to live in NYC, in the world at all and "suck the marrow out of life"?
